Cisco Bug: CSCun31671 - Interface Groups - DHCP is jumping across VLANs

Last Modified

Mar 28, 2014

Products (1)

  • Cisco 5700 Series Wireless LAN Controllers

Known Affected Releases

10.1(0.9)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When a client tries to connect to a network it sometimes pulls an IP address from a subnet that it shouldn't pull from. This problem only happens when we are using interface groups.

Conditions:
Example:
If I connect to SSID GCSaeronet which has vlans 40 & 48 in its interface group it will sometimes pull an address from the GCSGuest vlan 200 & 208 range.
It doesn't happen every single time but it is happening every 2-3 attempts. I completely recreated the network and configuration and it happened again.
