Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Computing System

Known Affected Releases

2.2(1b)B

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The blade's M71KR-Q CNA is set as "error disabled" on the IOM port then after a reboot it's able to FLOGI and boot from SAN on predefined LUNs.

In Qlogic ROM BIOS:
- right after power on/boot entering the ROM does not show any mapped LUN -> adapter error disabled
- after the adapter is up/flogi finished all mapped LUNs are listed

In the config settings there is a "selectable boot settings" menu entry. Under this, bootable LUNs are listed.

Conditions:
Server firmware upgrade from 2.1(3a) to 2.2(1b) on B200M2, CNA is M71KR-Q
