Description (partial)

Symptom:
UCSM becomes Lost-Visibility in UCS-Central when keyring with certificate chain is configured to use for https communication.

Conditions:
UCS-Central versions 1.1.2 (and later) with the introduction of Third Party certificates feature. UCSM goes to Lost visuality state after it registered with UCSC. Certificates signed by subordinate CA leads to UCSM lost visibility state.
CA certificate-chain needs to be configured as trust-point in UCS Central. This trust-point will be used to validate the keying certificate.
