Description (partial)

Symptom:
ASR1K interface comes down in spite of Local VC down on the opposing device.

Conditions:
When the VC goes down by shutting the interface on remote CE, the interface on Local CE also goes down.
Then when the remote interface comes up, there are three syslog messages displayed on ASR1k instead of one.
