Problem Description:

The "Cisco ATA 187 Analog Telephone Adaptor Overview" document says that NSE based modem-passthrough is not supported (though it is starting firmware 9.2(3)


 Name Signaling Event based passthrough

Name Signaling Event (NSE)-based passthrough is simply thet transport of fax or modem communications using the G.711 codec.

The ATA 187 does not support NSE-based modem passthrough. 


whereas the same is supported ATA 187 firmware 9.2(3) onwards.


Cisco ATA Analog Telephony Adaptor Overview document lists that ATA 187 does not support modem-passthrough NSE based but the same is supported starting firmware 9.2(3)
