Last Modified

Known Affected Releases

Description (partial)

Symptom:
On an ASA with jumbo reservation enabled but none of the MTUs set above 1500, go to Configuration > Device Setup > Interfaces. Make any change to any of the interfaces (but don't change the MTU). Click Appy - a message is shown
"Setting at least one interface MTU value about 1500 will enable jumbo frame reservation. You will need to reboot for this setting to take effect."

But in fact no MTU has been changed, and all of them are at their default values (1500) - see the attached config.

Conditions:
Jumbo frame reservation is enabled on the ASA.
this issue is relating to only multi-context mode
