Cisco Bug: CSCun10269 - Support for wild card registerations for ONEP application routes in XR

Last Modified

Jul 21, 2018

Products (1)

  • Cisco Carrier Routing System

Known Affected Releases

5.2.1.BASE

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The command to redistribute application routes into other routing protocols will not work if only the application name is mentioned, i.e "redistribute application <application-name>".

Ex:
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:ASR9K-4#sh run router bgp
Mon Apr 21 10:46:30.362 PDT
router bgp 4000
bgp router-id 110.110.110.10
address-family ipv4 unicast
  redistribute application onepk-routing-app

Conditions:
This issue will be seen under following conditions:

1) application routes are injected into the route table by onePK applications using routing service set APIs.

2) redistribution of these routes into other routing protocols is configured using "redistribute application <application-name>". The application-name is the name of the application as seen in "show onep session all".
Ex:

RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:ASR9K-4#sh onep ses all
Mon Apr 21 10:46:11.408 PDT
ID Username State ReconnectTimer ConnectTime ApplicationName

RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:ASR9K-4#sh run router bgp
Mon Apr 21 10:46:30.362 PDT
router bgp 4000
bgp router-id 110.110.110.10
address-family ipv4 unicast
  redistribute application onepk-routing-app
