Known Affected Releases
Symptom: In CRS X , if we have eibgp multipath configured in PE(CRSX with Line card as 40x10GE) with per ce label mode ,and if there is a Intra Vrf ipv4 traffic between 2 CEs , i.e from one CE1 in one vrf to other CE2 in same vrf and CE2 is dual homed(which has ebgp path and ibgp path), then 50% traffic drops in ebgp path on its way to CE2 and only 50% traffic goes via ibgp to reach the dual homed CE2. Conditions: Eibgp multipath configuration in PE (CRSX) with participating LC as 40x10GE , Per ce label mode in PE and when Intra vrf traffic comes from one Ce to other Ce which is dual homed. sample configuration: router bgp <> vrf v801 rd 100:801 address-family ipv4 unicast maximum-paths eibgp 10 label mode per-ce !
