Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When a 3850 or 4500 switch receives packets that are smaller than ethernet minimum (<64 bytes), it may count them incorrectly as either input errors or runts, but not both as is done on our routing platforms. Conditions: 3850 or 4500 receiving Ethernet packets that are < 64 bytes long.
