Cisco Bug: CSCun00824 - Add failed. A syntax error has occurred

Last Modified

Nov 14, 2015

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)

Known Affected Releases

10.5(0.98000.233)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Creation of copy of CTI Route Point using Copy icon present in the extreme right of the CTI Route Point entry results in syntax error

Conditions:
The Following warning message is displayed
"Add failed. A syntax error has occurred."

A second click on Save button results in "Add failed. One of the required fields on the page has the same value as an entry that already exists in the database. Please check the corresponding Find List page to verify your entry does not exist." indicating the presence of item already present..

This essentially means that creation of copy of CTI Route Point using unique Device name was successful but exhibited foxing message "Add failed. A syntax error has occurred" though the add was successful
