Dec 25, 2016
- Cisco ASR 5000 Series
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: at maximum VRF configuration, an unplanned demux DPC failure can cause monitored BGP peerings to transition to the down state. Conditions: When 2048 VRFs are configured, a demux DPC migration will bounce the BGP peers configured. Due to the large number of VRFs configured, the BGP peerings can take time to reestablish connections. This can cuase SRP monitored BGP peerings to fail and this initiate an SRP switchover.
