Description (partial)

the existing PI 1.x and 2.x require to have at least 1Gbps of bandwidth between PI HA Primary and Secondary during HA registration and database synchronization.
the reason why the customers implement HA is to make secondary server operational in case primary server becomes non-functional.
some other customers may be expecting to have HA secondary server in remote location as part of disaster recovery plan.
Today, the 1GB bandwidth requirement for HA really means that PI HA servers need to be co-located. it is because 1GB of WAN bandwidth is not really affordable for most customers.
PI HA bandwidth requirement has to be improved in order for PI HA to work reliably in an average WAN environment.

Prime Infrastructure ver. 1.x and 2.x
