Description (partial)

Symptom:
The error messages for Application Server Name do not match the validation, and in some cases may be misleading. In particular a Name containing only numbers is not valid, but error refers to it as an invalid IP address.

In the error for invalid Name, maximum length is given as 255 while validation allows only 50 characters.

Conditions:
From CUCM admin page go to --->System---->Application Server--->Add new --->Select server type

Enter a name that contains invalid characters (e.g., "$") or only numbers.
