Cisco Bug: CSCum94136 - Sessions groomed base on expire days in "default grooming" mode
Dec 23, 2016
- Cisco MediaSense
Known Affected Releases
10.0(1) 8.5(1) 8.5(2) 8.5(3) 8.5(4) 9.0(1) 9.1(1)
Symptom: On the 'Prune Policy Configuration' page in MediaSense Administration, the "Automatically prune recordings after they are more than # days old, and when disk space is needed for new recordings." setting is unchecked (disabled). However pruning of sessions continues to occur. Note that pruning of sessions occurs based on the setting configured when the session was recorded, not the current setting on the system. If the setting is changed the Cisco MediaSense Media Service needs to be restarted on all nodes in the cluster for it to take effect. Conditions: This is an issue in MediaSense v9.1(1) and v10.0(1).
