Known Affected Releases
Symptoms: A vulnerability in ARP module of Cisco switches could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to overfill switch's ARP table and cause high CPU utilization. The vulnerability is due to ip device tracking setting configured by default on a device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a large number of ARP packets to an affected device. Conditions: Large number of differing ARP requests processed by the switch.
