Cisco Bug: CSCum83316 - WC: After remove the last storage ctrl GUI shows status as Inaccessible
Feb 06, 2014
- Cisco Unified Computing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: UCSM may display a storage controller's operational state as inaccessible rather than removed when the storage controller is removed. Conditions: Due to hardware limitations, UCSM is not able to directly detect the presence of storage controllers. UCSM's method of detection is by communicating with the BMC and retrieving a sensor value which indicates the presence of the peer controller. As a result, when both controllers are either missing or inaccessible, UCSM is unable to determine their presence. In this case, one or both of the controllers may be display with a state of "inaccessible".
