Cisco Bug: CSCum74655 - xr520 lspv_server crash at lspv_alloc_request
Aug 01, 2018
- Cisco Carrier Routing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: lspv_server will consume a lot of memory, specifically properties request meant to query lspv clients (TE, L2VPN, LDP, BGP) for properties of the FEC. Conditions: This only happens if the client process is disconnected from lspv_server for a significant period of time (e.g. several hours) while the interface remains up. The most likely reason is a buggy code in the client. The issue has only been seen with TE (te_control) in Flex LSP image (5.2) so far but is possible on older releases as well.
