Description (partial)

lspv_server will consume a lot of memory, specifically properties request meant to query lspv clients (TE, L2VPN, LDP, BGP) for properties of the FEC.

This only happens if the client process is disconnected from lspv_server for a significant period of time (e.g. several hours) while the interface remains up. The most likely reason is a buggy code in the client. The issue has only been seen with TE (te_control) in Flex LSP image (5.2) so far but is possible on older releases as well.
