- Cisco ASR 5000 Series
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Same sessmgr instance start crashing on standby chassis on every checkpoint going to it for a particular call. Conditions: Trigger:Misbehaving SGSN. Call is established on GGSN with SGSN where SGSN has communicated its SGSN control address as IPv6 address even when GGSN service is binding on IPv4 address only. Under some race conditions this call gets setup in Active chassis. When such call is checkpointed on standby chassis, we start getting sessmgr crashes on detecting this abnormality.
