Description (partial)

Symptom:
Currently, Diagnostic Signatures (DS) allows definition of syslog event using regular expression pattern of syslog message of interest. It is possible to store specific portions of the regular expression match in a DS variable. The value of the DS variable cannot not used to qualify the event i.e. whether to trigger the event or not. 

For example, we can't define a DS syslog event that stores the process name in the following Syslog message in a DS variable and then trigger the event only when the process name is "Skinny Msg Server" 

%SYS-2-WATCHDOG: Process aborted on watchdog timeout, process = Skinny Msg Server
