Cisco Bug: CSCum62258 - show process memory changes.

Last Modified

  • Cisco Network Convergence System 6000 Series Routers

Known Affected Releases

5.0.1.BASE

Description (partial)

Symptom:On an NCS 6000 running release 5.0.1 the show proc memory location command does not sort processes in memory utilization descending order.

On the NCS 6000 running release 5.0.1 the show process memory output has no precise memory usage for a process in bytes. Instead it displays memory rounded off to the KB.

On CRS/ASR9k, show process memory output is given precisely and hence it has been easy for tac to monitor for memory leak easily.

These issues are addressed in release 5.2.0 by this enhancement.

Conditions:Here are comparisons between the output on a CRS and on an NCS 6008
