Description (partial)

Symptom:
The "Number" field in the Connection Settings of a scheduled conferences is editable. The intended use case is to manually update the dial string in case it has to go through a gateway that Cisco TMS does not know about, for example by adding a DTMF sequence or a prefix. Changing the "Number" field will *not* change the allocated number on the Main Participant, for example on a Cisco TMS managed conference bridge (TelePresence Server or MCU). See the Cisco TMS 14.3 Administrator Guide page 158 ("Changing this will not change the number that the MCU or remote end will answer to."). 

Some end users find the current behavior confusing. In a future version of Cisco TMS, the option to edit the dial string will be moved into the participant settings pop-up along with a more appropriate help text.

Conditions:
This behavior is the same in all versions of Cisco TMS. It is intentional, but could be confusing to some end users.
