Cisco Bug: CSCum60628 - Hostnames and DNS resolution for SIP messaging can cause call failure
Last Modified

Products (1)
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager)
Known Affected Releases
8.6(2.23900.10)
Description (partial)
Symptom: Calls dropping after 3 minutes in a SIP environment using DNS hostnames in the SIP messaging. Conditions: All versions up to and including 10.x. This occurs only in race-condition when both 18x and 200 require dns lookup, and 200 is received before dns response to 18x. Since we have dns query outstanding for 200 still, this is the dns response to the 18x \ lookup. Just drop it and wait for 200 lookup to complete
