Cisco Bug: CSCum59332 - PI 2.0 NGWC Collection Failure NgwcInterfaceConfig due to dhcp config
Mar 17, 2014
- Cisco Prime Infrastructure
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Under certain conditions, Prime Infrastructure may fail inventory collection if the following are configured on a 3850 or other NGWC wireless LAN controller: interface Vlan4 ip dhcp client lease 7 0 0 ip address 10.48.77.1 255.255.255.0 secondary ip address 10.48.4.1 255.255.255.0 ip redirects ip unreachables ip proxy-arp ip mtu 1500 Conditions: Issue # 1) the lease parameter in ip dhcp client is not handled and will generate an exception while adding the device. Issue # 2) In the case where the device has two IP addresses, secondary and primary, the stored value of the IP address is that of the secondary instead of primary, and that secondary IP address is displayed in UI. It should be primary that should be stored and only if a primary is not configured should the secondary should be used.
