Description (partial)

Symptom:
VLANs are down due to PVID mismatch and VPC peer link is inconsistent after receiving corrupt BPDU, this could be due to bad link for example. However they remain down even after bad link has been shutdown.

Eg:

n7k# show spanning-tree vlan 1000 detail | egrep -i 'vpc'
Port 4195 (port-channel100, vPC Peer-link) of VLAN1000 is broken (Port VLAN ID Mismatch, VPC Peer-link Inconsistent)
Port 5095 (port-channel1000, vPC) of VLAN1000 is broken (VPC Peer-link Inconsistent)
n7k#

Conditions:
The happends when a bad BPDU is received and then immediately a good BPDU is received for the same VLAN.

This is a race condition and affects all NX-OS versions.
