Description (partial)
Symptom: When the switch crashes, the crash file is not saved. That is, after a reboot, the "show platform crash" command does not show the saved crash data. Also, the following message is observed during boot: OldPath(flash:/CRASHN/CRASH.DAT)-NewPath(flash:/CRASH/CRASH.DAT)-Ret(-13) Conditions: The problem is specific to the following IOS platforms: - Catalyst 4500 Supervisor 6E - Catalyst 4500 Supervisor 6LE - Catalyst 4900M - Catalyst 4948E IOS-XE is not affected. The trigger for the problem is as yet unidentified.
