Cisco Bug: CSCum50651 - TMS conference fails to start w/TC7 endpoint & Enhanced CP picture mode
Aug 27, 2014
- Cisco TelePresence Management Server
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Scheduled conferences in TMS do not start or allocation fails when the master or main participant is an endpoint running TC7.X with the Picture Mode of Enhanced CP and the connection type set to one where the TMS initiates the calling (Automatic Connect or Manual Connect). In the conference log three instances of the following message will be seen: "Allocation failed: hostAddress: 192.168.2.247, description: GetDocument Failed. URL: https://192.168.2.247/putxml, base exception: Unable to connect to the remote server" The final message will be: "Allocate failed, conference is not automatically connected" TMS sends an unsupported Picture Layout of "Speaker" before dialing the command which results in the endpoint responding with 500 Internal Server error. Conditions: The main participant as seen on the connection settings tab that is selected is an endpoint running TC7.X software. The issue will occur with point to point calls or multi-site calls and doesn't occur if an MCU is involved in the conference. The meeting connection type is set to either Automatic Connect o Manual Connect.
