Description (partial)

Symptom:
On some newer IOS versions IP device tracking is on by default and cannot be disabled.

Still it is possible to execute the command which is supposed to disable IPDT.

Switch(config)#no ip device tracking
% IP device tracking is disabled at the interface level by removing the relevant configs

The message is misleading.

Conditions:
IOS version on which IP device tracking cannot be disabled, for example 152-1.SE, 03.02.02.SE.
