Description (partial)
Symptom: emsam_fault process under Prime Collaboration Assurance 9.5 grows in virtual memory allocation until an out of memory (OOM) event is encountered. Observing the emsam_fault process via Linux top command on the affected system, it is possible to watch this process increment in VM allocation until the OOM condition is faced (e.g. 3 GB). This results in the generation of a heap memory dump, similar to the following: /opt/emms/emsam/log/Fault/Fault.stderr.log 23-Jan-2014|10:34:19.484|ERROR|Fault.stderr|main|Caused by: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space After restarting the system, issue re-occurs at a 20-30 minute interval on average. Conditions: Large server deployment with 1000's of active alarms
