Description (partial)
Symptom:In a customer setup with 4 N7Ks, all device fails to send SCH test message using SMTP method. When issue was raised customer was running 5.2.5. Device displaying invalid error message when performing "Callhome test inventory" to verify smart callhome. dc-28-gw2# callhome test inventory trying to send test callhome inventory message warning:no callhome message sent no email address configured for destination profile:full_txt no email address configured for destination profile:short_txt Error in transporting email message for CiscoTAC-1 SMTPclient: Host:130.194.13.84:Invalid hostname or address for mailhost This bug is to address the issue of showing APPROPRIATE/CORRECT error message instead of showing "Invalid hostname or address for mailhost" for all failures. When the issue was happening, it reported the above message for both conditions when using the hostname and when using IP address for SMTP host. Conditions:When performing callhome test inventory to verify SCH with N7K
