Last Modified

Mar 07, 2018

Products (1)

  • Cisco Email Security Appliance

Known Affected Releases

8.0.1-023

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When an administrator adds any report to Monitor -> My Reports on an appliance that is part of a cluster, it will result in an error when running 'clustercheck'. Example:

(Cluster example)> clustercheck

Checking Report Catalog...
Inconsistency found!
  Report Catalog at Machine ironport1.example.com:
ironport2.example.com has an invalid configuration (last updated Tue Jan 07 18:09:20 2014 PDT by 'admin' on ironport1.example.com)

How do you want to resolve this inconsistency?
1. Force the entire cluster to use the default settings for Report Catalog at Machine drwho.ironport5.iplab.local
2. Ignore.

If option 1 is used, the report module is removed from the User Reports page.

Conditions:
This issue only exists if the ESA is part of a cluster.
