Description (partial)

Symptom:
When using the Cisco TelePresence C-series or EX-series to call another endpoint using H.323 and telling the C or EX-series endpoint to automatically choose the correct protocol type, the call will fail.

Conditions:
This condition can occur when the endpoint being called to is only available via H.323 and not SIP, as well as the absence of any H.323-SIP interworking along the call flow between the two endpoints. This condition will occur only if the call protocol is set to Auto and not explicitly defined.
