Cisco Bug: CSCum26002 - EP DDNS in CIMC takes more then 2 mins to send response to DNS server
Jan 10, 2017
- Cisco Unified Computing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: The delay has been reduced since the wait for CIMC to assume IP has been made in increments of 5 seconds, but the issue of checking the pingability of a DNS server before firing a DDNS update to that server is yet to be addressed. Conditions: This delay occurs when DDNS update is triggered for any of the DNS servers but is maximum when all 4 DNS servers are not reachable.
