Description (partial)

Symptom:
When pressing the following key on the remote control causes the STB to exit the Reset Menu: Settings; Menu; DVR List; Guide; VOL. The STB should not respond to these key presses. On the 8642 & 8742 units the units exit the Rest Menu when these key presses are made and display the key function. On the 4742 & 4642 units when these key are pressed, the units exit the Reset Menu and displays the key functions and then goes back to the Reset Menu. If you let the timer run out after the Reset Menu is re-displayed, the STB goes to a blank screen. This behavior is not seen on the 86 & 87 units.

Conditions:
STB in the reset Menu.
