- Cisco Jabber Softphone for VDI
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: [VXME for Suse Linux] Cannot switch between 2 cameras of the same type in virtualization. Conditions: Setup: 1. vxme and vxme-pre-req are installed on the TC 2. Two cameras of the same type are connected on TC (one in USB 3.0 port, the other in USB 2.0 port, both in USB 2.0 ports or both in USB 3.0 ports, it doesn't matter, in all combinations the results are the same) 3. VXME_Utilities and Jabber are installed on an HVD on which a user is logged on and a user is sign in in Jabber Steps: 1. Make sure the both cameras are present in Device Selector 2. See which one is selected by default 3. Make a video call to some other device 4. See that the video on the other device is sent from your selected camera (or see your selfview) 5. End the call 6. In Device Selector change your camera device to the second one (previously unchecked) 7. Make a video call to some other device Expected Results: After 7th step the video you send to the other device and your selfview should be from the camera you chose in the step 6. Actual Result: After 7th step the video you send to the other device and your selfview is still from the same camera, the camera from step 2.
