Description (partial)

Symptom:
In the Directory tab, when a contact let say ?test? whose presence is showing.
Copy same contact in another tab. Make sure it's the only contact in that tab. i.e. no scrolling is available. It's presence will be shown here.

Now,
Scroll down the contacts in the directory and make sure ?test? is no longer visible in the synch directory....

At this point you will notice that ?test? has no presence shown in another tab where it is still visible. 
Scroll back the directory so that test is visible in the directory. You will notice that it will start showing the presence in the other tab. 

Currently if a contact is visible on more than one tabs at any moment of time, then it will make only one subscription request. However, it is becomes invisible on one tab, and still showing on another tab, its subscription will remain open.
