Symptom: A host-name in the IPS host configuration can be changed to include invalid host-name characters. Example: "firewall5/ips". Conditions: In the example, "firewall5/ips", besides having an invalid forward-slash character in the name, the invalid host-name can cause IPS operations like service-pack or signature upgrades to fail.
