Description (partial)

A change of name or number made to a contact does not reflect in the previous call log in recents. If we make a call to particular contact it is reflected in recents. Now if we change the name or number of that particular contact and make a call to this contact again the changes made to the contact are reflected to the new call logs but not to the previous call logs.The previous call logs in recents still show the old name or number.
