Cisco Bug: CSCum08957 - Core Typhoon LC drops FAT-PW traffic with dst mac starting with 4 or 6

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Traffic going over a FAT-PW is dropped.

Can be seen in the NP counters as drops in PARSE_DROP_ING_MPLS_LABEL_INVALID and RSV_DROP_ING_MPLS_PLU.

Conditions:
ASR9000 L2VPN PE running 4.3.x is a disposition PE of a FAT-PW (so with pw-class configured with flow-label).

The core LC receiving the MPLS frame must be a Typhoon (Enhanced Ethernet) linecard.

The destination MAC address following the FAT-PW VC label and the MPLS flow label must start with 4 or 6.

Hi all Can anyone explain how to make sense of the fixed-in releases listed in the bug tool? Specifically, I am looking at a DDTS (<key>CSCum08957</key>) which is listed as &quot;known fixed&quot; in 5.1.2.12i.BASE. Well, I run 5.1.2, and an &quot;admin show ver&quot; gives me: =====SNIP===== asr9k-base, V 5.1.2[Default], Cisco Systems, at disk0:asr9k-base-5.1.2 =====SNAP===== So, does that mean that I'm in the clear? - I guess not... I can't find any SMU regarding the specific DDTS. Is the only way forward repropducing the effect ...
