Description (partial)

vic_proxy process core happened due to invalid msg type in vic_open .

The message L_OPEN is received and put in the event queue for processing, before this event is processed a link flap happened(Fabric port) and  all session related to this if_index got flushed out. The link_down is a high priority event and got processed before the waiting l_open message. Now the link came back again , all session related values are set to  default values. The waiting l_open event is processed , with default values which caused the assert. Generally a_open happens first and then l_open happens, this out of sync l_open message has caused the assert. It is not frequent scenario fabric link flap happening when a l_open message is queued up
