Known Affected Releases
Symptom: If the software firewall is already running, you may experience problems when launching IDC, you may see a pop-up message saying "failed to start media service", and then IDC shuts down. If the firewall starts up after IDC is already running, it may interfere with starting and stopping PTT, or the display of talker IDs. Conditions: IPICS Dispatch Console 4.8(1) Software firewall, such as McAfee Firewall is installed.
