Cisco Bug: CSCum00060 - XML query fails on Ethernet SLA ConfigErrorsTable after reload
May 17, 2018
- Cisco Carrier Routing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: If there are global configuration errors for a SLA profile (see Conditions below), then XML queries whose response contains <ConfigErrorsTable> will fail and return a XML error. For example, the following will fail: <Get> <Operational> <SLA> <Protocols> <Ethernet> <ConfigErrorsTable> <ConfigErrors> <Naming> <ProfileName> <i>ProfileName</i> </ProfileName> </Naming> </ConfigErrors> </ConfigErrorsTable> </Ethernet> </Protocols> </SLA> </Operational> </Get> Conditions: Global configuration errors can only occur if a card is reloaded with fewer SLA capabilities than it did before; this is an extremely rare situation. The presence of global configuration errors can be verified by running show ethernet sla configuration-errors: Any errors not of the form "Profile '<i>ProfileName</i>' is not configured but is referenced by operation for <i>InterfaceName</i>, dom <i>Domain</i>, to <i>Target</i>" are global configuration errors.
