Cisco Bug: CSCul98869 - ISIS purged LSP being ignored with failed authentication
Mar 10, 2018
- Cisco IOS
Known Affected Releases
RNE Enclosure Symptom: If two routers are assigned duplicate system IDs, after the duplicate system ID is resolved (e.g., by changing the system ID of one router) stale LSPs from the duplicate router may persist in the network until they age out. Conditions: MD5 authentication MUST be in use and the router with duplicate system ID must be generating one or more LSPs with LSP numbers higher than those generated by the router whose systemID remains unchanged.
