Known Affected Releases

5.1.1.BASE 5.1.2.BASE

Description (partial)

BGP process crash on Standby-RP when VRF configuration is removed from the router. This will not affect BGP's normal operation.

There is a timing condition involved where Standby-BGP has deleted the database corresponding to the VRF being un-configured first. Later on, Standby-BGP gets a sync message from Active-BGP to delete the Resilient Per-CE NH set for that database. The issue will be seen only when label allocation mode is set to per-ce.
