This bug requests to make the followings changes in the Configuring Layer 2 Switching Section in Layer 2 Switching Configuration Guide.

The URL is as follows:

1. Under ?Building the Address Table and Address Table Changes? change
?You cannot configure broadcast or multicast addresses as static MAC addresses.?
"You cannot configure broadcast addresses as static MAC addresses. Starting 5.2(1), multcast MAC addresses can be configured as static MAC addresses. Please look at Configuring IGMP Snooping." Associates the following hyperlink to Configuring IGMP Snooping to the following URL:

2. Under Configuring a Static MAC Address on a Layer 3 Interface
In step 3, "mac-address 21ab.47dd.ff89". 21ab.47dd.ff89 does not work. Change it to 22ab.47dd.ff89. Similarly, change the example under step 6.
