Last Modified

  • Cisco TelePresence Content Server
  • Cisco TelePresence Content Server Model

Known Affected Releases

S5.3

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When TCS is in a cluster, external participants are unable to view live streams. The TCS hosting the live
stream is sending its internal IP which is not translating to external IP and reaching external clients.
External client is unable to route to private IP address and therefore does not receive media.
There is no issue with on-demand stream when viewed from external clients. In this case, TCS sends its
hostname which is translated properly to external IP that clients can reach.

This does not occur when TCS is in standalone mode; live stream and on-demand stream works as
expected.

Conditions:
TCS in a cluster, live stream does not work from external clients.

TCS in a cluster
Each with 1:1 NAT on ASA Firewall
Live stream viewed from outside does not receive media as external clients sees TCS internal IP
