Cisco Bug: CSCul94449 - smgr Sig 11: Seg fault strncasecmp()
Jan 29, 2017
- Cisco ASR 5000 Series
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When new peers are added on gy interface, there were some serious crashes on strncasecmp(). The corefiles generated were not good to do thorough analysis. Conditions: Existing peers have to be deleted and new peers are added. The calls that were connected with existing peers try to route the messages and the route table index is corrupted, possibly due to negative route index making the route-index table to go out of bounds.
