Symptom:
Core files transferred from Chassis to WEM is getting corrupted and gzip is unable to decompress this compressed core file.

Conditions:
Compressed core files are transferred to configured location whenever a crash occurs in asr5XXX system using FTP protocol.  It is possible that ftp can corrupt core file when transferred in ASCII mode.
