Description (partial)

Symptom:
throughput doesn't scale linearly, when increasing data-rate higher latency is noticed.
The delay introduced in the packet exchange is causing TPC transactions to initially sends retransmissions and eventually drop.
Customer might experience higher latency

Conditions:
This behavior was observed when the system was configured with 48 GB RAM, 28 cores, 24 sessmgr, 4 vnets under kvm1.4
it worked ok when it was configured with 32 GB RAM, 16 cores, 15 sessmgr, 4 vnets although more recent updates have shown similar problems in such configuration as well
