Description (partial)
Symptom: The following information would prove useful in the CUAC Troubleshooting guide for customers thatare encountering issues accessing the webadmin following a CUAC installation. Thus far the only the only consistency in the cases is that IIS had already been configured prior to the installation of CUAC thus the subset of roles associated by default with those roles outlined in the installation guide were not added. As such, customers that had prior installs of IIS would need to manually add the subset of roles to the existing configuration in order to access the webadmin. Topic: CUAC Webadmin fails to load Troubleshooting Steps: * Run Server Manager * Expand Roles * Right click Web Server (IIS), and then select Add Role Services * Ensure the following items are selected: ** ASP.Net ** Default Document ** Directory Browsing ** HTTP Errors ** .NET Extensibility ** ISAPI Extensions ** ISAPI Filters ** Server Side Includes ** Static Content ** Static Content Compression * Click Next, then click Install. * Once complete, launch command prompt and run 'iisreset' to restart the ISS services Conditions: CUxAC installation on Windows server, where IIS was previously configured and roles are being added to an existing setup.
