- Cisco ONS 15454 Series Multiservice Provisioning Platforms
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: WSE OCn timing: Sync state not ignoring if Bits(1-4) of S1 byte Conditions: 1)Line timed Node to receive timing from WSE P9 STM64 port which is connected to a test set. 2)Injected various values of S1 byte to check for different synchronization states and alarms. 3)Changed S1 to 02x , observed that SSM state on the node changed to SSM-PRC 4)Now changed S1 to Ox12, SSM state changes to SSM-FAIL 5)Same is observed with other synchronization states i.e. if first four bits are not all zeroes, then the Sync state of the node is not getting changed even if bits 5-8 are valid inputs.
